Red Riding Hood at Sixty

Suzy Lamson presents an eclectic selection of poems ranging in subject matter from amusing twists in domestic life to the pain and courage of cancer, death and love. Her poetry varies in tone from lyrical to witty, from poignancy to exaltation. Whether the topic is romance, illness, family relationships or food, the reader will experience a roller coaster of emotions. Her poems have appeared in a number of literary journals. Her first volume, A Rose Between Her Teeth¸ was published in 1998.

Ms. Lamson grew up in New York and emigrated to California where she lived communally for fifteen years. She relocated to suburban Connecticut, where she writes poetry and works in paper collage.
