Undated but school prize label dated 1929 on title page (which largely obscures illustrator and publisher names). Assumed 1st. Lovely full colour front cover, some b&w and full colour illustrations throughout by John Hassall. Also contains The Three Bears and the Story of Chicken Licken.
Stitched binding and card covers. Card covers a little scuffed and marked, corners a little bumped and worn. Internal pages slightly browned and page edges dustmarked. Ownership inscription top left corner of rear cover. Illustrations and text still clean and clear, so Fair to Good overall.
