Redefining Me: Lessons Learned in the Refiner's Fire

There's a saying that goes, "You're born, you live, and then you die," or something like that. However, that oneliner doesn't discuss what happens in life that completely uproots everything you've ever known about yourself. Author Takhia Gaither chronicles readers through the beliefs, thoughts, decisions, and actions that landed her in an abusive relationship. Relying on her faith in God and being a trained teacher, she evaluated each situation as a new lesson and committed to do the work of allowing God to redefine her entire life as He turned up the heat on the refiner's fire.

This book brings together over two years of writings spanning a 20+ year journey as it directs the reader through journaling activities, self-reflection, and ways to apply scriptures to their every day lives.
