About the Authors

As a senior partner, the vice president of recruiting, and an executive-level sales and leadership coach for Southwestern Consulting, Ron Alford is an expert in recruiting, sales training, and coaching.

Alford has shattered every sales and revenue record at Southwestern Consulting since joining the company in 2013. He achieved the highest level of sales 70 times with Southwestern Advantage and coached and trained more top 1 percent producers than any other manager since Southwestern Advantage was founded in 1868. He was recently named Southwestern Consulting's 2024 Coach of the Year.

Alford is also a devoted dad and a loving husband who enjoys pushing his limits of endurance in numerous ultrarunning endeavors.

Dustin Hillis is the former CEO of Southwestern Family of Companies and former President of Southwestern Coaching. Hillis has been featured in a variety of media outlets and has authored multiple books and coaching curriculums.
