It's a penalty to the away side. Just as the kick is about to be taken, the home side's official mascot suddenly jumps up behind the net, dancing. The penalty-taker misses and turns to you in outrage. What do you do?
You are the Ref — the cult classic comic strip from legendary Roy of the Rovers artist Paul Trevillion — puts you in the spotlight and asks the question: what would you decide?
Written by former international referee Keith Hackett, and brilliantly illustrated with stunning portraits of stars from all eras, You are the Ref is the ultimate guide to football for fans of all ages.
Collecting the best classic strips plus brand new art inspired by World Cup 2010, the book is full of extra trivia and facts — allowing youngsters and old pros alike to test their knowledge and to get to grips with the nuances of the game.
For anyone who has ever questioned a referee's eyesight or grappled with the intricacies of offside — now it's your turn.
Just remember: the referee's decision is final.
