Reference Library of Hispanic America: Almanac (Volume 1)

The Reference Library of Hispanic America is a detailed look at Hispanic America from the earliest migration to the prominent citizen of today. Part of a four-volume set that is stacked with photographs and biographical sketches of the people who have aided in the progress of Hispanics in America, as well as extensive descriptions of the Hispanic culture. Volume 1 explores the history and culture of Hispanic America, a community of people in the United States whose ancestors---or themselves---came from Spain of from the Spanish-speaking countries of South and Central America, Mexico, Puerto Rico, or Cuba. The Almanac is organized into fourteen subject chapters, including immigration, family and religion, jobs and education, literature, and sports.
