Refining Fires: The Bones of Makaidos Part 1 (Oracles of Fire)

This faith-building, young adult fantasy adventure is set in the same world as the bestselling Dragons in Our Midst series.

The realms of Hades and Earth have collided.

While the dead roam the Earth, a temporary wall of flames shields the innocent villagers of the Second Eden from devious dragon Arramos, the Nephilim giants, and the dragons of darkness. But how long will this last defense survive?

As Billy Bannister and his friends weigh their dwindling options, help appears from an unexpected source―Semiramis, mother of the scientist Mardon. Seemingly out of desperation to save her son, she passes through the forcefield and spills Arramos’s attack plans, but no one is sure of where her loyalties lie. With mysteries abounding and an ultimate battle looming, every decision could mean the difference between life and death.

In book 4 of the Oracles of Fire series, join these young heroes on this epic, action-packed quest as they overcome impossible odds, trust God and each other, and face their fears.
