Reflection

When Alexis Post accepts a position as an on-site archivist at the prestigious Calyx Estate in rural Oregon, she believes she's finally escaped her stalled life in a small Florida town. While cataloguing obscure family paintings, Alexis becomes fixated on the estates lake and abandoned farmhouse looming beyond the trees. On the night of the charity gala, beneath fireworks and forest shadow, Alexis learns the truth about the lake-and why the Calyx family guards it so carefully. Some waters don't simply reflect. They restore. They erase. And they demand sacrifice.
