In this collection of instructive & often provocative interviews, conducted by students of the Australian Army Command and Staff College, retired & serving Australian officers reflect on the experience of active service. Spanning operations from Bardia in 1941 to Baidoa in 1993, they offer insights into the art & science of war, into the preparation of soldiers for its trials and into the complexities of leading them against fire, perhaps the greatest challenge of the battlefield. *** Quantity Available: 1.
