The year 2000 saw the release of the last of the "LaRouche political prisoners," those courageous, and INNOCENT individuals who were railroaded into prison, along with the world-renowned statesman and economist, Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr., by a corrupt, "permanent bureaucracy" inside the U.S. Dept. of Justice.

Michael Billington, who was sentenced to 77 years in prison in Virginia, after serving a three-year federal sentence, has written an extraordinary account of his life, and his decade as a politcal prisoner. The book covers Mike's experiences as a young, idealistic Peace Corps volunteer, who later joined the LaRouche movement, and became a top fundraiser, seeing this work as the most effective way to put his principles into practice.

Now the story of what REALLY happened--and not what the corrupt mass media said--can be told, and is told in this book.

Does it shock you to think that America has political prisoners? It's time you met Mike Billington.

Michael Billington, the author of this autobiographical memoir, is one of a dozen individuals who were sent to prison in 1989 with America's foremost statesman, Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr. How does the son of a middle American family, a lover of mathematics and music, and a Peace Corps veteran, wind up in prison for 77 years?

The answer is, that he--like LaRouche--refused to give up the battle for justice and truth.

In 1972, Mike joined the LaRouche movement, and placed himself into the arena of world history. Like many others of his generation, he had encountered the rampant immorality and corruption of post-Kennedy America. But unlike most, he refused to give up fighting.

In the course of his organizing, Mike sparked the personal hatred of George Bush's illegal Iran-Contra apparatus. Ultimately, he was branded a "zealot," and condemned to prison. A zealot for what? You may be surprised to see that his principles are the very ones for which our nation was founded.

So, meet Mike Billington, a man who has kept up the fight for truth and justice, even from prison. As a spokesman for LaRouche's vision of Third World development, his writings are read throughout the globe. Mike's optimism will inspire you in the battle to restore justice to our nation.
