Reflections

Reflections is John Patrick Boutilier's 5th poetry book to be published with ARDUS Pubications. As with all of John's books, this book is full of wisdom, wit, humour and biting attacks at the establishment for their misdoings. This book is a glimpse into the soul of a true poet, someone who feels deeply both the pleasures and joys we all feel and who cares for the state of his fellow human being. As he himself states in the poem "Reflections": REFLECTIONS The poetry I write are reflections Some reflect the desires I've within me Others reflect my deepest emotions Still others reflect what I read and see All I write are reflections of my soul Each and every poem written from the heart Some were painful to write and took their toll Others gave me joy almost from the start It gives me great pleasure to offer you The thoughts and feelings I believe we share Perhaps provide you an avenue To see written what you might not dare The words and feelings you've chosen to hide The part of your soul protected inside © John Patrick Boutilier, 2016, All Rights Reserved.
