Reflections of an Entrepreneur: The Story of Fish Window Cleaning

When Mike Merrick set out on his dream to start his own business, he didn’t know what to expect. In fact, people laughed at him when he told them his aspirations. But he wasn’t deterred. In 1978, he bought a small window cleaning company for less than $4,000. Today, thanks to unwavering faith, Fish Window Cleaning® is one of the most successful service franchises in the United States, having been recognized in the Entrepreneur 500 for twenty-four consecutive years.

Join Mike as he shares priceless advice and relatable, funny stories in Reflections of an Entrepreneur: The Story of Fish Window Cleaning. You’ll learn many important lessons, including:

• Advice from friends and associates may be well intentioned, but not all advice is good advice.
• Entrepreneurs must have a risk-taking gene, but that doesn’t mean every business decision should be high risk.
• Not all businesses have glitz and glamour. Focus on businesses with consistent, year-round demand rather than seasonal or fleeting trends.

Whether you’re a new or seasoned entrepreneur or simply someone who loves a story about beating the odds, Reflections of an Entrepreneur will inspire you to consider that venture others may think is a little “crazy.” Whatever your dream may be, don’t be afraid to go for it!
