Reflections on the Existence of God: A Series of Essays

*Updated edition with expanded sources*

"Richard Simmons' book is the fruit of many years of thoughtful reading about the relationship of theology to the issues of modern life. He brings the biblical doctrine of God into conversation with the most basic questions about meaning and morality, science and human reason. Chapter after chapter offer helpful insights."
— Tim Keller, Redeemer City to City

"This book is well laid out. Easy to read. My wife and I have been reading through the book with our teens, and we've had some great discussions because of the great content in this book! Richard has provided a wonderful tool for families to read together and discuss!"
— Dr. Danny Huerta, Focus on the Family VP of Parenting and Youth

Reflections on the Existence of God is a series of short essays seeking to answer life's most enduring question: Does God exist? This book is well researched but also easy to read and understand. Each essay can be read in less than 10 minutes.

I wrote this book for skeptics, atheists, and for those who struggle with doubt, especially young people searching for answers. I also wrote this book to help people of faith, to equip them to more effectively engage with the skeptical culture in which we live.

In the end it is important to know whether God exists or He does not exist. There is no third option. Which of these beliefs is true and which one is not? — Richard E. Simmons III

In 2001 Richard E. Simmons III founded The Center for Executive Leadership, a faith-based ministry focused on counseling business executives, teaching and writing. He is the best-selling author of Reflections on the Existence of God, The True Measure of a Man, The Power of a Humble Life and other resources for the family. He and his wife Holly are the parents of 3 children in their twenties. When Richard isn't teaching or writing, he enjoys golf, snow skiing, and travel - his favorite being the family's recent trip to Italy.
