Synopsis

The poems in this book are a small selection from the accumulation of writings about the author's thoughts and feelings experienced over the last thirty years. Writing initially after the death of her first husband in 1977, early poems were personal expressions of grief focussing on loss and loneliness but very few of these are included here. Later poems expanded into other emotions and aspects of life, resulting in the present varied collection of reflections and observations - both philosophical and humorous.
