19th century devotional material by the pietist Sturm, translated from the German. Two very nice books, small 8vo, fully bound in contemporary calf, patterned & goldblocked on sides and spine. Eps marbled. 79 & 88 pp. respectively. Both volumes contain a frontispiece plate and engraving for each of the three months covered. Excellent condition; v.slight wear to edges of boards. pages remarkably clean and unbrowned. 2 vols. for £80. Size: Sm 8vo.
