A Refutation Of Calvinism: In Which The Doctrines Of Original Sin, Grace, Regeneration, Justification, And Universal Redemption, Are Explained (1812)

""A Refutation of Calvinism"" is a book written by George Tomline in 1812. In this book, Tomline presents a comprehensive critique of the doctrines of Calvinism, focusing on the areas of original sin, grace, regeneration, justification, and universal redemption. He argues against the Calvinist belief that all humans are born inherently sinful and that only a select few are chosen by God for salvation. Tomline also challenges the idea that salvation is solely dependent on God's grace and that human effort or good works play no role in the process. He proposes an alternative view that emphasizes the importance of human agency and the possibility of universal redemption. Tomline's book is a significant contribution to the ongoing theological debate surrounding Calvinism and its implications for Christian doctrine and practice. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
