Second Edition (first 1625), with four new articles. Founded in 1577, the Marian congregation s mission focused on those too ashamed to beg. HALF OF THE ARTICLES CONCERN THE CHARITY S PAWN SHOP. Its profits aided those in need. Among the particulars are the hours for receiving and valuing new inventory, the types of property that can be accepted, the standard loan terms (two-thirds of total value), minimum shelf-life (two years), storage, and when unredeemed items could be sold. Other articles govern prayer, confession, mass and the election of officers, some involved in running the shop. Following the articles is a short section on how new brothers can join followed by prayers and orations. In good condition (minor spots), stamps of the Abbaye Notre-Dame d'Aiguebelle (Drôme).
