He was granted the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship at the University of Basel (Europa Institute), the Swedish Institute Visby Programme Scholarship at the University of Gothenburg (School of Business, Economics and Law), and the Shanghai Municipal Government Scholarship at the Shanghai University.
