Arjun is a young Indian doctor who is reeling from the tragedy of a broken love affair. Despite having ambitious plans, his deep sense of alienation derails his future. He travels to New York and begins an unexpected romance with a young student, Sonia. Her family's illicit lifestyle takes Arjun on paths he had never before imagined. Rajeev Prasad studied philosophy at Northwestern University prior to completing medical school. He is currently a physician living with his wife in downtown Chicago. He enjoys practicing and teaching Aikido, a Japanese martial art. This is his first novel.
