Scotland's Curriculum for Excellence offers an example of a different approach to national curriculum development. About the Authors

Mark Priestley is Professor of Education at the University of Stirling and the Director of the Stirling Centre for Research into Curriculum Making.

Gert Biesta is Emeritus Professor of Public Education in the Centre for Public Education and Pedagogy at the Maynooth University, Ireland, and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Pedagogy, Religion and Social Studies at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Norway.
