Random House, New York; copyrighted 1962. This Fine quality book is a 6th printing, with a number line starting with "6". It is 8-1/4" tall with 305 numbered pages; it has a slight lean but is extremely clean, with no edge dings and with the top front corner lightly bumped but with no fraying; head and heel of the spine are both lightly creased with no color loss. Both boards and spine are very clean and the lettering and lines on the spine and front panel are pristine. Except for an inked name/date/city on the back side of the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. The paper is modestly toned and quite flexible. Both hinges are strong and not damaged in any fashion. The Near Fine quality jacket is intact and has no tape on it. It has a small bump at the lower front corner and small bumps on the heel of the spine, all with slight color loss, but no chips, tears, creases or folds. Condition of book and jacket consistent with being very gently read. No other discernible or objectionable faults on book or jacket such as marks or writing within, stains, tears, chips, or other damage that would diminish its appearance. No remainder mark, no previous owner markings or inscriptions, not price clipped, not a former library book.
