Relationalism is the view in philosophy of mind that particulars in our environment are constituents of conscious perception. It is an important theory of perceptual experience, offering explanations of perception's phenomenal character and its epistemic and semantic role. However, it has also been criticised for a lack of empirical grounding.

About the Author

Farid Masrour is a Professor of Philosophy at University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. His research interests range over philosophy of mind, philosophy of cognitive science, epistemology, and Kant’s theoretical philosophy.

Ori Beck is a Lecturer in Philosophy at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. He primarily works in the philosophy of mind, epistemology, and philosophy of cognitive science.
