Religion vs. Salvation: From Ritual to Relationship
A Deep Dive for Teens, Young Adults, and New Believers
By AmberElizabeth Addison-Scott, M.Ed

Have you ever wondered if going to church is the same as knowing Jesus?
Have you grown up in church but still questioned whether you're really saved?

You're not alone.

In Religion vs. Salvation, AmberElizabeth Addison-Scott shares her personal journey from religious routine to a genuine relationship with Christ. Written for teens, young adults, and new believers, this book unpacks the difference between being familiar with church culture and being transformed by God's grace.

Through Scripture-based truth, and practical insight, you'll explore questions like:

• What is religion?

• What does it mean to be saved?

• Can I be quiet in worship and still be close to God?

• Was Jesus Himself religious?

This book isn’t about judging tradition—it’s about breaking free from performance-based faith and discovering the freedom, intimacy, and assurance that comes from knowing Christ for yourself.

Whether you’re a lifelong “church kid” or just starting your walk with God, Religion vs. Salvation will challenge what you’ve heard, affirm what you’ve felt, and help you walk boldly into the relationship God always wanted with you.
