Religious Life for Our World

*Advance Praise and Reviews*

"Required reading" for authentic renewal in initial formation." ― V.V. Nguyen, Review for Religious

This moment in religious life is generating interest and energy around how congregations can adapt to what is being asked of them today, in the cries of the world's peoples and the cries of the earth, our common home. In response, Maria Cimperman explores how God's call, the needs of the world, and the charisms of consecrated life can come together in ways that dynamically engage the vows, prayer, community, and ministry for the particular times and contexts in which we live.

Maria Cimperman, RSCJ, is director of the Center for the Study of Consecrated Life and associate professor of theological ethics at Catholic Theological Union (CTU) in Chicago. She is co-editor (with Roger Schroeder, SVD) of Engaging Our Diversity: Interculturality and Consecrated Life Today.
