Scarce survey with additional plates. Printed by W. Bulmer and Co. Cleveland Row for G. and W. Nicol, Booksellers to His Majesty, Pall Mall, 1812. Recently rebound with brown buckram spine, tan buckram boards, and paper title label 24 x 29cm. Collation: iv + 478 + 12 (Index, and Directions to the Bookbinder) + Frontis portrait + 12 Plates bound in at various points in the text (some folding) + 36 additional plates not called for, on heavier paper bound in at the end. Covers fine. Binding secure. Text pages mostly near fine with some spotting and foxing. The plates at the back have water stains to the bottom left corner, becoming gradually fainter the further in from the back you go, and they do not affect the images. Some of the folding plates / maps are tanned along the folds. Small university library ink stamp and number to the blank verso of the title page. No other institutional marks. Some collation marks penciled to the Directions to Bookbinder page.
