This feature allows all students to engage in the activity, participating, performing, and feeling successful while building fluency! By performing this charming story with their peers, students will also practice important skills like reading aloud, interacting cooperatively, and using expressive voices and gestures. An accompanying poem and song are also included in the script, providing students with additional fluency practice. All of the features in this colorful, leveled script make it the perfect tool to get all students to enjoy participating and practicing fluency.

About Shell Education
Rachelle Cracchiolo started the company with a friend and fellow teacher. Both were eager to share their ideas and passion for education with other classroom leaders. What began as a hobby, selling lesson plans to local stores, became a part-time job after a full day of teaching, and eventually blossomed into Teacher Created Materials. The story continued in 2004 with the launch of Shell Education and the introduction of professional resources and classroom application books designed to support Teacher Created Materials curriculum resources. Today, Teacher Created Materials and Shell Education are two of the most recognized names in educational publishing around the world.

Harriet Isecke, MA and M. Ed., has served for over 35 years as a teacher, literacy coach, and district administrator and is the recipient of several local and state education awards. Her published works include numerous children's picture books, reader's theater plays, primary source guides for students, and differentiated instructional materials for teachers. Harriet speaks at state, national, and international conferences and provides workshops for K-12 educators.
