I Also Remember (Paperback)

On a spring day in 2025, Kathleen Rabbers received a copy of I Remember by Joe Brainard for her birthday. Inside were evocative short-form poems, each beginning with the words "I remember." She started reading it that night and couldn't get enough of Brainard's bravado and vulnerability.

She thought, Wouldn't anyone want to do this sort of thing with their reminiscences?

So she did.

From riding a bike through puddles to a first kiss at the drive-in to drinking peppermint schnapps in the Bahamas, I Also Remember provides intimate snapshots of one human's life—and may inspire you to create your own.
