I Remember Running: Sequel to It Is Morning (Paperback or Softback)

Young Lorrie Dean did it all for love-and now, she's running for her life. When she learns that Andy, her childhood sweetheart, is searching for her, she makes the bold choice to find her. Trouble is, she is in the witness protection program, and for good reason. As soon as she surfaces, her enemies rush in for revenge.

She's now in the hands of hardened criminals who will stop at nothing-even torture-to get what they want. Lorrie fears not only for her life but for the life of her mother. And if the younger woman breaks under their questioning, both lives will be imperiled. She knows the torture is their next step, and she can't risk betraying her mother to avoid physical pain. So she makes another bold decision: she will make an all-or-nothing attempt to escape. She knows that her only hope lies in freedom, even at the risk of death.

Miraculously, she succeeds-and the chase is on again. She finds Andy, and their love story seems too good to be true. That love, so carefree and natural when it began four months ago, is rapidly growing into an ominous burden. Suddenly she finds another demon to battle where she least expects it. What lurks behind the next corner could change everything-and she finds herself running for her life again.
