Remembering the Battle of the Alamo (Perspectives Library: History Perspectives)

Step into the action of this legendary 13-day siege during the Texas Revolution through first-hand accounts. The History Perspectives series uses primary and secondary sources, along with narrative retelling, to highlight the perspectives of three different people of a particular time and place. Readers are prompted to compare perspectives and motivations and to think critically about how we tell the stories of the past.

Peggy Caravantes, a retired educator, is the author of several nonfiction books for students of all ages. She lives in San Antonio, Texas, the home of the Alamo.
