Supported again by many of the world’s top wildlife photographers, who have generously donated images, and with writings by people who really know giraffes, this book brings together breathtaking photographs and moving reflections that honour these extraordinary animals. Each page captures the spirit, grace, and resilience of giraffes in the wild, offering readers a chance to appreciate their majesty and their vulnerability.
Remembering Giraffes is a heartfelt celebration of the gentle giant that continues to captivate us. We hope this book creates awareness, compassion, understanding and a deeper connection to these fascinating creatures.
Above all, we want Remembering Giraffes to help ensure that future generations will continue to look up in awe at these remarkable animals.
Remembering Giraffes is the 11th book in the celebrated Remembering Wildlife fundraising series, which has so far raised more than £1.26 million GBP ($1.64 million USD) for conservation projects since it began in 2016. The aim of the creators is to make the most beautiful book ever seen on a species and to use that to raise awareness of the plight facing that animal and also funds to protect it. Each book is full of images generously donated by many of the world’s top wildlife photographers, with 66 contributing this year. All profits from the sale of this book will be donated to projects working to protect giraffes in the wild.
