Remembrance of My First Holy Communion

Remembrance of My First Holy Communion (Boys)

Remembrance of My First Holy Communion by Sister Mary Theola and illustrated by George Angelini, is a beloved, timeless Catholic keepsake missal designed specifically for children receiving their First Holy Communion.

With this edition designed specifically for young boys, Remembrance of My First Holy Communion is not a storybook or deep theology dive--it is a personal, portable prayer companion that marks the big day: the moment a child first receives Jesus in the Eucharist. Parents and godparents gift it as a memento, often with room for names, dates, photos, or notes. What makes it important? It turns a one-time sacrament into a lifelong tool--helping children (and later adults) stay connected to Mass, prayer, and faith. Very popular in Catholic families, many adults still reminisce with their copy of Remembrance of My First Holy Communion decades later for nostalgia or quick devotions.
