Translated from the French by C. K. Scott Moncrieff and Terence Kilmartin (assisted on volume 3 by Andreas Mayor). With Kilmartin's translation note at front, and Notes, Addenda and Synopsis at rear of each volume. --- In full black cloth-covered boards with silver-foil titling and decorations on covers and spines. All three volumes in a shared decorated slipcase. This set does not include the dust jackets. --- Volumes with conspicuous sun-fading to spines (turning them from black to charcoal grey), and with minor soiling to cloth. Interiors are unmarked, bright and tightly-bound. Fair-only slipcase with tears along a pair of joints which have been clumsily repaired with clear package sealing tape but case remains intact and able to protect the books.
