The definitive French Pleiade Edition. In black cloth bindings with silver type and design motifs. Books in beautiful shape with sharp corners, clean interiors and tight bindings. Book club stamps to bottom of rear boards near spines. Jackets show show wear to spine ends with nick to head of volume 1 and crease to front flap of same, Short tear to head of volume 2 and some dents to spine of same and some nicks to head of volume 3 - Very Good to Near Fine. Slipcase has chips to cornes of opening with 1 1/2 inch split to bottom right corner. Paper of slipcase lifting all the way around with some chipping and tears to one side towards rear. Scuffing with some nicks/small scars and marks - Fair.
