Copyright date 1960, first Limited edition of which this is number 39 of 167 copies Signed by the Editor. Edited and with an introduction by Harold McCracken, profusely illustrated with black and white reproductions. With a slipcase, which has a number 39 written on the back upper right corner, a crack lowe right front near the bottom. Frontis in color. Full gilt-lettered leather, blind stamped buffalo head on the front cover, top edges gilt. A very fine copy with slipcase. A collections of stories and other writings by Remington, arranged chronologically, and illustrated with over 100 of his drawings and paintings. Text and illustrations remain bright and clean, binding is secure, a solid scarce limited edition by Frederick Remington. Size: 4to - over 9" x 12" Tall.
