First printing of the second edition. The first edition was printed in a small edition. "Early Times in Southern California." The foreword is written by Arthus M. Ellis, and the Illustrations are by James S. Bodrero. Illustrated frontispiece. The book itself is in near fine condition sue to the original glassine being present and complete under the dust jacket. There is some minor offsetting in the gutters and there is a bookplate on the front pastedown. The dust jacket is very very good (for its age) and is not price-clipped although there is no price on the jacket, slight fading to spine and cover. Very scarce with the original glassine.
