Renewable Energy Technologies

Describes the practical applications of renewable sources of energy, particularly solar and bio energy in the field of agriculture.

The materials presented in the book have been contributed by the experienced researchers and scientists, involved mainly in the research and development activities of renewable sources of energy. As renewable energy engineering is interdisciplinary, the information in the book can be used in various specialized courses such as science, engineering and agriculture. It is also invaluable as reference book for undergraduate and postgraduate students of renewable energy and related fields, mostly for the engineering streams like agricultural, mechanical, civil, and electrical engineering.

The book covers the broad areas of natural resources management for energy sustainability and environmental protection for climate change mitigation. Basic concepts and application of renewable energy system for reliable source of energy in agricultural sector, working principle of the devices and presentation of concepts in simple and practical manner with clear figures will help the end users, agricultural practitioners, researchers and technicians in adopting the technology in a sustainable manner.
