Renewable Energy's Broken Promises: Large-Scale Renewable Energy Project Failures and Success of Rooftop Solar

In Renewable Energy’s Broken Promises: Large-Scale Renewable Energy Project Failures and the Success of Rooftop Solar, I pull back the curtain on a story few want to tell: the hidden costs and overblown promises of America's mega energy projects. With decades in environmental due diligence on 100- to 500,000-acre sites, I’ve witnessed firsthand how large-scale wind and solar farms, funded by billions in taxpayer dollars, often fall short of their lofty claims. They promised clean, efficient energy to power the nation, but what they delivered was a trail of environmental damage, transmission inefficiencies, and corporate profits at public expense.

While massive solar fields and wind farms seemed like silver bullets to replace fossil fuels, they’re beset by high costs, environmental disruption, and a reliance on fossil-fuel backups that dilute their green potential. The answer? Rooftop solar—a practical, cost-effective, and community-driven approach that avoids these large-scale pitfalls. Rooftop solar empowers individuals to harness clean energy right where they need it, eliminating transmission losses, protecting farmland, and reducing our dependence on corporate-driven projects.

If you’re ready to discover the real path to a sustainable energy future, free from corporate interests and inefficiencies, this book is your guide. Dive in and uncover why rooftop solar is the powerful, sustainable answer America needs.
