About this title

This is a fantasy mystery novel about Joey Taylor and his loveable rescue dog, Max, who witness a hit-and-run accident. With the help of Officer Burt, bizarre Miss Bubbles, and Max's magic, the two amateur detectives experience a rollicking adventure as they seek to capture the villain and see that justice is done.

About the Author:

Glo graduated with an English and Education degree from SMU. She has been a successful performer for film, radio, and TV for many years and is also an entertaining speaker for organizations around the country. While reading books to middle grade school children, Glo was inspired to write a book herself. Her son, Laird, and dog, Max, were the prototypes for the lead characters in this book, and because of her love of mysteries, she chose that genre for this book. Glo also cowrote the book: Commercials: A Handbook for Performers, and she has written numerous articles for magazines. Glo has three children, six grandchildren, and lives in Texas with husband, Rod, and dogs Max and Toby.
