When someone walks back from the face of death with a message, we all need to listen... Repeat After Me contains the seven simple truths that led Kathy step by step from confusion into clarity, from chaos into serenity, and from despair into hope. These simple truths can gently escort you on your path through turmoil and out the other side. Rumi said, "Be ground. Be crumbled, so wildflowers will come up where you are. You've been stony for too many years. Try something different. Surrender."
Repeat After Me offers you another way to view the chaos, a way to embrace the crumbling, a simple path into celebrating the wildflower that can rise from the stony ground.
Kathy was born in Wisconsin but has called the mountains of Colorado her home for the last forty years. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and former nun who enjoys writing, pottery, quilting, outdoor activities, and traveling by motorcycle and automobile.
Kathy has been a seeker of truth all of her life. Because community life failed to satisfy her yearning for connection with her Source or provide answers to her deepest questions, she disengaged herself from any religious affiliation, and then struggled in the ensuing years to find meaningful, spiritual direction and understanding. The collision in 2002 presented not only the impetus but also the time to take her search to a deeper level, becoming the greatest gift of her life. The seven simple truths emerged to sustain her and give purpose and clarity to the next season of her life.
Kathy's writing flows from a lifetime of compassionate service, including volunteer work in hospice, hospital, and numerous other settings. Repeat After Me is her first published book and shares her walk into physical, emotional and spiritual healing after her life turned upside down.
