An advertising gimmick. A single piece of paper, (7.25 x 3.75 inches), with black illustrations of six political figures (Franklin, Hamilton, et al). It's wrinkled and browned, but I think that is part of the process used to make it appear old. The lower left hand corner is torn off. This is an exact replica of the actual note as it was issued by the ill-fated bank. (This is a copy of an 1840 note, and the bank closed in 1841, or 1836, depending on your source.) The back of the note is an advertisement for Cuckler Building Systems, "a better building value with TODAY'S money.".
