In original blue paper covers, with nine plates bound in at the end to illustrate the then current appearance and the proposed improvements of sample Government publications. The corresponding title pages are also shown. There is also an appended 'A Note on the Legibility of Printed Matter' (17 Pages) at the end. Condition: Covers soiled and worn, reinforcement around the top of the spine with translucent tape, pages clean and bright except for dust soiling where the edges have extended beyond the covers. Standard shipping terms:

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs quoted are for books weighing up to 2 Kg (4.48 lb) when packed. If your book order is heavier than this, I may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. NOTE that I charge the same shipping cost to all EU countries, but the ABE system makes this rather difficult to set up; if you are ordering from an EU country not on the shipping costs list and so are charged the general International postage rate, I will refund the difference when processing your order. TAX on orders from the EU: our recent departure from the EU has left muddle and confusion for sellers and customers alike. For items costing more than 22 Euros VAT will have to be paid by the customer on receipt of the order, and possibly a handling fee levied by your postal service.
