One of a number of posters from the Defense Department's Industrial Security Poster series, which were issued monthly to industrial plants with defense contracts. The posters were part of a joint campaign between the Department of Defense and the FBI initiated by the Presidential Directive of July 24, 1950 requesting all persons to report espionage, sabotage and subversive activities. The poster features in the novelization of Guillermo del Toro's The Shape of Water (2018), in which two Russian spies brazenly meet underneath it. Lithographed in red on cream stock (18" x 13").
