Bound in between pp. 10 and 11 large folding chart of River Mersey from Rock Ferry to Pool Hall Bay showing, inter alia, area assigned by Secretary of State 1883 for mooring of magazines. Witnesses giving evidence at Inquiry included Leader Williams, Engineer to Manchester Ship Canal, and questioners included Town Clerk of Liverpool. Author, Colonel Vivian Dering Majendie, was H.M. Chief Inspector of Explosives. Slight browning throughout and a few small nicks to margins, but item otherwise in good condition. Rebound in blue card covers.
