On His Return from Mexico, and to Tender to Him the Hospitalities of the City, , printed in New York by McSpedon & Baker, Major General Winfield Scott took part in the War of 1812, the Mexican-American War and the early stages of the Civil War, and was the Whig Parties presidential nominee in the 1852 election, bound in black cloth with gilt spine and gilt back New appearing brown cloth stamped covers. Gilt spine, crown and bottom of spine lightly pushed. Light nibbling to extreme edge of first two leaves. Listed in Sabin.
