Original colour illustrated wraps 22 x 28cm. VIII, 48pp English and VIII, 48pp Arabic text, (8)pp Portfolio of Photographs captioned in English and Arabic, illustrated colour and b/w with photos, maps and charts throughout. Dated 15 April 1956 to the transmittal letter by Aramco President R.L. Keyes and Chair F.A. Davies. Wraps good with wear and minor loss to spine, interiors good, creased to corners. The transmittal letter notes increased production in spite of the reintroduction of Iranian oil into world markets, wider exploration and drilling operations and research. While US staff continued to provide principal supervisory and technical skills, progress was made in bringing Saudi Arabs into skilled jobs, and other nationals into clerical, technical and craft jobs where local experience was not yet sufficient. The main chapters cover oil operations; the people of Aramco; health; training; and community development.
