Contemporary green cloth soiled and edge rubbed with side splits to spine, 98 pages inc index, original printed paper wrapper cover bound in.Several names within as ownership record , the oldest written in ink to front wrapper is a presentation from John Slingsby to Mr Robert Crichton C E , who has written his name to front free endpaper. The map is Phillips new map of England and Wales compiled from the ordnance survey showing canals, navigable rivers and principal railway lines by F W Shawe, scale 20 statute miles to one inch, a couple of minor splits to folds and two small ink marks to rear of map.
