Volume 1 and 2: of a two volume set: Volume I: Full leather binding in brown texured leather, criss-cross diagonal patterning to front and back board, variation in colour & texture due age and soiling but quite presentable, rubbed to extremities, `banded spine detailed in gilt, title in gold, 9.5 x 6.0 inches approx. , no damage, neat inscription of previous owner to front paste-down, 506 pages followed by Appendix and Index 1-40 pages, all edge red speckled, some foxing but text clearly readable, endpapers discolored. Volume 2: Very good contemporary brown calf binding, 9.5 x 6.00 inches approx. , raised banding to spine, with gilt line highlighting, gilt titles, blind stamped decorative line edging, boards having a textured diamond pattern apprearance, some background scuffs and soiling, corners very good but slightly bumped, plain endpapers, i-viii (Contents: Cases reported and Cases cited) some background browning to these pages although the text is still fully readable, pages 2-188 being clean and not stained, 188 pages, rear endpapers have dark staining around the edges, generally a very good and sound set.
