Sixteen Parliamentary reports, tables (one full page highlighted in colour), five large folding ordnance survey maps of Java (in the consecutive reports for 1907-1911), disbound in plain title wrappers, stab sewn, 31.4 x 20.7cm, speckled fore edges, separate pagination (relating to previous compilations) added in manuscript or stamped. A very good clean set. An unbroken run of reports over a lengthy period of marked development. The 1896 Report notes the opening of telephone lines and the launch of works to bring electric light and the succeeding reports quantify change across a range of commodities--including the bumper crop in 1911 of sugar, one of the staple crops. The last two reports are larger and include separate coverage of Macassar and Sumatra.

Shipping terms
The shipping prices quoted on ABEBooks reflect what we have found to be the "average book". Of course in reality there are many books that do not weigh what an "average book" weighs so there are times when we need to requote shipping, just as there are times when we are in position to refund some of the shipping. Please rest assured we try to get your order to you for a reasonable price, as quickly and as well packed (we carefully pack all of our parcels in book boxes) as possible.
