In good condition, with some scuffing and discoloration to boards. Losses to labels on spines. Hinges remain in good condition and text blocks remain bound well. Light markings. Includes foldout frontispiece in Volume I. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce pair of volumes on British medieval religious history. Part of a larger series entitled Chronicles and Memorials of Great Britain and Ireland During the Middle Ages.
