Original reprint in staple bound printed wraps 16 x 25cm. pp527-534 + 3 plates VIII-X containing 8 b/w photos. Ex-institutional copy with stamps to front and interiors (Geologisch-palaontologisches Institut der Universitat Basel) and previous owner's name to front - A. Buxtorf, probably August Buxtorf (1877-1969), who had worked as a petroleum geologist in Egypt. Tear along the spine. Interiors tanned, otherwise near fine. This presents findings from a geological expedition conducted by the International Geographical Congress at Cairo, organised by O.H. Little. The author draws on authorities such as John Ball, Beadnell, Harding-King, Blanckenhorn, and the Survey of Egypt.
